Imagine 10 days of palm trees, white-sand beaches, turquoise seas and tropical drinks. That’s just a taste of the sun-soaked itinerary on Good Sam’s cruise to the Caribbean and Panama Canal aboard Holland America’s Zuiderdam (pronounced “ZYE-der-dam”).
You’ll depart from Florida’s Fort Lauderdale to Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas where you can swim, snorkel, scuba dive, set out on a catamaran or just sit back in the sun. From there, it’s off to Aruba and the Antilles in the southern Caribbean before entering the Panama Canal on the way to Costa Rica’s historic port city of Puerto Limón, founded in 1502.
From stem to stern, the ship and its crew pamper you with wonderful shows and to-die-for dining, whether it’s high tea and scones or steak and lobster. The Zuiderdam will astound you with its elegant yet contemporary decor and its exquisite Waterford crystal seahorse suspended in a three-story atrium. Climb up to the Crow’s Nest Lounge for endless views and take the spiral staircase down to the Lido Deck where you’ll find swimming pools, fitness rooms, a spa and a salon.
Good Sam members are invited to a private cocktail party and also receive free reservations at the pre-cruise Daytona Good Sam Rally, November 2 through 4. Space is limited, so don’t wait to book your cruise and come sail away with Good Sam!
